K-pop group NCT WISH wrapped up their debut world tour with a special encore performance in Seoul, marking a milestone achievement just two years after their launch.
The boy band hosted a press conference at Olympic Park’s KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, celebrating both their tour finale and the upcoming release of their first full-length album titled “Ode to Love.”
Their maiden concert tour kicked off last October and successfully visited 18 cities worldwide, concluding with three consecutive shows at the prestigious Seoul venue.
Member Jaehee expressed disbelief at performing at such a major venue, saying the rapid progress seemed surreal. He thanked their fanbase, known as SIJENIs, and promised to showcase their improved skills developed throughout the tour.
Sakuya shared his happiness about performing at such a large-scale venue, noting they had completed 30 shows since October and would give their best for the finale.
Sion commented on the surprisingly quick achievement of reaching KSPO DOME, expressing gratitude to fans for making it possible after two enjoyable days of performances.
Yushi, Riku, and Ryo each shared their excitement and appreciation. Ryo specifically mentioned how remarkable it felt to hold a solo concert at such a major venue only two years into their career, crediting their supporters entirely.
About the New Album:
The title track “Ode to Love” incorporates sampling from The Cranberries’ famous song “Ode To My Family,” reimagining the iconic humming motif into a fresh dance-pop number based on New UK Garage style.
The group plans to showcase elevated choreography with the track’s upbeat energy, demonstrating their artistic growth.
The first studio album “Ode to Love” will be available on major music streaming platforms at 6 PM on the 20th, following the momentum from their successful encore concerts.
